Jason Payne

Jason is the proprietor and driving force behind Estabrook Road. In fact, Estabrook Road gained its name from the street that he grew up on as a youth. It was during his time growing up in Roxbury, Ma that he was introduced to music. A local group called New Edition hit it big and Jason learned from their experience the power of music. Music became his motivation and driving force. He fostered his passion and turned it into a career. Beginning with running a small open mic night at a small nightclub in the Fenway district to running the biggest weekly nightclub in the New England area. Mr. Payne then took his career on the road, managing and promoting numerous artists such as Notorious BIG, Onxy, and The artist formerly known as Prince. Jason then began to work with the A&R departments of record labels such as Epic & Capitol Record. It was from his experience with these labels that he was exposed to the gap in development and contracting with labels. This was the motivating force that brought him to the point of starting Estabrook Road.  Estabrook Road is where artists can come to fine-tune their craft, learn what labels are looking for and get the deals that they deserve. Jason and his staff look forward to helping you along your journey to these aims. #Letsgo

Ryan  Dawley, A&R Label Services      

Ryan has been in the entertainment industry for over 13 years in several different aspects. After earning his degree in Theatre and Communication Arts at Gannon University, Ryan went on to perform in regional theatres across the US. In 2011, he made a life-changing move to write, direct, and perform in children’s musicals in South Korea. He spent a few years going back-and-forth between Korea and Hong Kong, where he was teaching high school drama and performing in bands and musicals, as well as voiceover work for a global toy company. In 2015, Ryan made the transition into the music world, singing in five-star hotels all over Asia and the Middle East, including the Grand Hyatt (Seoul, Singapore, Beijing,) Hilton (Kuala Lumpur,) Four Seasons (Maldives,) and Shangri-La (Jakarta.) Most recently, he built the entertainment department at Blue Tree Phuket in Thailand from the ground up as the Senior Entertainment Specialist, hiring local and international musicians, and also singing and managing the in-house band. He is also the CEO of his own company, Coverseas Productions where he hires bands and DJs to perform in 5-star hotels in Asia and the Middle East, as well as corporate events and weddings. Ryan is beyond excited about this opportunity as an A&R at Estabrook Road and looks forward to helping artist achieve their goals.

Marquis Hines, A&R

Born in New York, Hip hop as a whole is my livelihood. As a young boy, I would read album credit pamphlets front to back while my friends read Harry Potter. That passion led me to starting my own mix cd business, where I would sell my classmates' cd’s that I would burn at home, and eventually to where I work in the media and production areas that I do today.  I have worked in journalism for the last 3 years securing interviews for The Rapfest, a hip hop media company based in New York, as well as partnering with the likes of Vh1, NYFW, and others to host events. However, my love did not stop there as I have opened and run a studio for the last 6 years. I am looking forward to my journey with ERR and helping artists reach their dreams.
